IAM Patent 1000

Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine, the world's leading IP business publication, is conducting in-depth research for the inaugural edition of its major unique new publication, IAM Patent 1000: The world’s leading patent practitioners. This is a new guide from The IP Media Group, publishers of IAM, World Trademark Review, the IAM 250 series and the WTR 1000. Building on the success of these publications, the IAM Patent 1000 will consolidate the previous IAM Licensing 250 and IAM Patent Litigation 250 guides into one book, which will also cover patent agents, to provide a comprehensive ranking of firms and individuals in private practice across the entire range of patent practice. The guide will include in-depth rankings of firms and individuals engaged in patent prosecution, patent licensing and commercialisation and patent litigation in 40 countries.

Recommendations for firms - interviews

Any information that you can provide during the research process is likely to improve the chances of members of your firm being included in our rankings, as it will complement our own research findings. I would be grateful if you could suggest a couple of time options on the basis of the research schedule when a representative(s) from your firm would be available for a 30-minute phone conversation with one of our researchers. All interviews are conducted confidentially and any comments made will remain strictly non-attributable. Please see the schedule for more information on when research is being carried out.

Submissions

It is helpful if firms submit to us brief overviews of their practice, short biographies of the lawyers involved and summaries of recent work highlights, making sure to clearly mark as confidential any cases/details that are not in the public domain. For further details, please see our submission guidelines.

Client referees

In order to enhance the feedback we gather on your lawyers and attorneys, on the basis of which we draw up our ranking tables, we strongly suggest that you submit to us a small number of referees (a maximum of three per practitioner) who may be contacted to provide confidential references on their work (preferably purchasers of your firm’s services). For further details, please see our submission guidelines.
